The Ultimate Compliment ...

I wouldn't have missed this get together for the world. A night out? I was loving it. While there, this woman comes up to me and asks "Is your name Tara?". Danbury is not my turf at all, so I couldn't imagine who it was - unless it was an OH CT Board User or someone *****cognized me from the radio. So I answer in, what may have seemed to be, a form of a question. "Yes!?". She then told me her name. I knew RIGHT away who it was. My college roommate from 13 years ago! I couldn't believe it. I had wondered how she's been for many many years. I then asked her how she recognized me. That is when the bomb hit. She replied, "You look EXACTLY the same!" It was at that exact moment that I realized I hit my goal. The pounds didn't matter to me anymore. The fact that I look exactly as I did in college, when I was VERY THIN, was unbelievably surreal. That was truly the ultimate compliment. As if the pounds now do not matter to me - I am officially down 100 of them! I only needed to lose 85, but the weight just keeps coming off. Well, I won't complain. But now, I look like a 60 year old woman when naked and that truly bothers me. Hi Tara I missed you on Ct Message Board and was happy to hear from you. It must feel good when your old roommate said you looked same as before. If you did not had this surgery you won t be same as before. I do understanding about your feeling about your naked body but pretty soon you will go for plastic surgery to fix it. I hate what i look like when I am naked but know I will havev Tummy Tuck and Breast lift up next year. Keep in a touch with us Hugs Kathy K
