Kathy's Excercise Log- Thursday
Here we are again... Snow storm again tonight! I am tired of snow!! LOL I am planning to meet my trainer to do my workout with her for an hour but do not know if she will cancel my apt tonight but if she cancels my apt then I will do push up, lower abs sit ups and do tread mill for 30 min tonight at my house.
Drive careful tonight if you go out tonight

I'm jumping on board today before the snow arrives. I started back at the gym 2 days ago and boy do I feel it. But I got up and was at the gym by 5:30AM. Did a bit lighter weights cuz I am so sore today.
35 minutes on treadmill with HR in the zone for 28 minutes.
20 minutes of wgt training--today was arm day(we alternate days)
For the last couple of months I have just been walking my dog cuz of problems with my back (it turned out to be a herniated thoracic disc from surgery)and I thought it wasn't much excersize but I can now crank up the speed and incline so it sure did help.
I go with a friend and if she doesn't see my car in the parking lot she calls(we did this the entire last year -even before surgery).
This really works cuz I don't want to let her down. Its a great motivator and also makes the time on the treadmill go faster cuz we yak the whole time.

Looks like only a few of us responding to your log these days! C'mon gang..lets get going..spring is right around the corner!
Tonight it looks like there will be snow on the ground..so no walking outside. I don't go to wor****il 10am..so maybe I will get a one mile walk aerobics video in before work and a 2 mile when I get home! I am using weights on my arms now...to help the workout be more vigorous. The scale isn't budging...but I am getting more compliments on my weight in the last month...and size 14 clothes are more comfortable..and sometimes loose. It may not be too late to measure myself...I sure wish I did it in the beginning... Oh, yeah..numbers don't matter...

Hi Kathy,
I don't post every day, it gets boring cause I do basically the same thing every day. But... I got my other daughter to try the gym with me yesterday, and she is trying it out for a month also! I am thrilled. So we are all going this morning before breakfast to do the circuit.
I am doing the circuit three times a week and a class three times a week. I have tried the cardiolow ball class twice now.

I go to Butterfly Life in Groton. It is very new. Lots of them on the west coast. I have not tried Work Out World, seems like a lot of windows you can look into and rock hard bodies.
Butterfly Life is for "real" women who want to feel welcome and at home in a gym setting.
The classes are on DVD in front of a large screen t.v. and there is no pressure.
I think you can try it out for free, and there are different prices whether you join for a year or a month at a time.
