I have been so busy preparing for the baby and trying to make it through the day on little sleep that I have not been online much. It is nice to see that the CT board is very active and alive with such a supportive group of people. I feel badly that I have not joined in as much lately and I probably won't have too much time in the near future but I WILL be back. I need to get back on the losing weight bandwagon very soon. I have another 20 or so lbs to lose after the baby. I have gained about 12lbs so far and I think that will mostly come off right away and then I have to fight hard for the rest. I can't wait to have the baby and was having some mild contractions last night but they went away when I drank water and lay down so it turned out to be nothing. I have recently developed pregnancy related RLS (restless leg syndrome) It is absolutly horrible at night and keeps me up a good deal of the time. Does anyone else have this? Any tricks that you know of that are non-medication? I will still probably be in the hospital for the next Yale support group but I will try hard to make it to the April one.

Hi Heather,
So nice to see your smiling face and glad everything is progressing as scheduled.
I too have been MIA but am finally able to sit at the computer for a while. Had a little hospital stay but am finally home and on the mend. I really missed everyone here.
My sister has rls but unfortunately has not ever found a solution, so hopefully it will pass soon for you. I know when I have the fidgets I find it helpful to walk, so that's all I can suggest.
Sending good thoughts your way and hopefully Linda and I will stop up to see you.
Hugs & best wishes, Mary Lou

Hi Heather,
I have RLS too, and my husband massages/ strokes them away from the heart, don't ask why but it seems to help to go in one direction. Also I find wearing warm socks to bed helps. Sometimes I just want to scream! they jump so much. Give those two things a try, hope it helps...
Blessings~
