I can do this one today Breakfast: 1+ servings of oatmeal, brown sugar, and 1% milk Lunch: Tuna salad sandwich on roll with swiss cheese and roasted peppers Dinner: Stuffed mushrooms and Alaskan King Crab Legs with butter. With this, who cares how much I am back on my no snacking for lent. So far I have been able not to crash (low blood sugars)with 3 meals just due to what I have been eating. I have gone so far as to even stop taking my viactive so that I have no candy!!! Yes, I am taking other suppliments so it should not prove any problem. Peter

Peter- Sounds like you are doing great ! This no-low carb deal is tough...I had no idea..broccoli or spinach had ANY carbs! OK..just finished lunch and already I am changing my menu. L- 7 shrimp with 1 oz of ****tal sauce (10 carbs!) and a green salad with lite dressing I am going to have shrimp and ****tail sauce for my snack tonight too! OK..I hope I can hold the menu here..it is low in cal and carbs but 78 g of protein. See you tomorrow! Joanie

Joanie, You could try some cheese for a snack, low in carbs. I buy the light cheddar, it is lower in fat and calories, one ounce satisfies me. I broke my plateau finally, I took some milk of magnesia (for the constipation), but it moved the scale! B - total protein 14g L- 1/2 carb consider bagel with pb 9g D - leftover night, so either 3 oz. of chicken or pork chops 21g S - cheese Pam
