OK...here is my thought...You are exercising mostly everyday. Have you thought of the old "pound of fat, pound of muscle theory". You are building up good, lean muscle (whi*****reases overall weight) but still losing unwanted fat. I recently read something about this...so, if you are gaining muscle weight, but loosing fat, your overall weight may plateau at times. We all want to loose fat! By keeping up good nutrition (protien) you will not waste muscle, but build it up!!...I agree with measuring yourself and going by the way your clothes fit...you will see more tangeble results that way. No matter what...keep doing what your doing! Keep up the great work!!

I've got to take a different prospective here. WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU THINKING!?!?!?!?!?! When was the last diet you were on that you lost 76 lbs in 12 weeks AND had not lost anything for over 3 weeks????? You have lost over 56% of your weight loss to goal in 12 weeks???? What were you expecting??? So you're at a plateau. It happens, and the amount of time that you will be at steps will vary from one plateau to another. the closer to goal you are, the longer they will last. Plateaus are normal. When your body hits a weight that was at for a length of time, it sits there comfortably in starvation mode. Your body will determine when it is time to move, not you. Increasing protein levels, exercising more, droping carbs, stop eating fats, increasing water and howling at the moon are all about equially effective when you have been following what you should be doing in the first place. PLEASE give yourself the time to allow your body to adjust to where it is at. This is an emotional roller coaster for you, but it is a physical rocket blast for your body. It needs time to adjust to what has been going on in so many ways. Think of this as your body doing it's own version of a prep for the next weight loss stage. When it hits, you will break and lose LOTS quickly. Then your body will adjust and it will slow down. Shouldn't it?? You are not feeding as much body as before. and your calorie requirements are less and you will EVENTUALLY need to change your eating again. I will gladly bet you $1,000 that if you continue to do just what you have been doing, that you will start losing weight again. You are not finished at 3 months out. Patience, That's the key. Peter
