Fittin' In
I just had to share how excited I was when I went in for my blood work for my upcoming followup appt. with Dr. Aranow. When I went in before surgery, I remember telling the nurse that hopefully the next time I came in, the armrest bar on the bloodletting chair would go down comfortably without resting on my belly. Well, I sat down in the chair without having to wedge myself into it and low and behold! I had room to spare when she brought the armrest bar down!!! WAHOO!!!
That felt terrific!
Most of you remember my post about the airplane experience I had when I went to China this past summer, well Thursday morning I am going to Florida with my daughters to visit my Mom. I am sooooooooo excited to see how I fit into the seat. Never thought I'd look forward to this!
thanks for reading

Awesome, Terri! You've worked hard and I'm happy you're reaping the benefits of WLS!
I remember your post about your flight to China all too well. While that will always be a bittersweet memory, it'll be one to never repeat itself. I flew to Cancun last summer and let me tell you, there was nothing better than sitting in the seat and not needing an extension, or overlapping onto the seats on either side of me. I have the feeling you're going to be in for the ride of your life!
Congrats to you, and may your trip to FL be extra special.
Peace,
-Deb
Hi Terri
Thank you for sharing this special moment!!! I cannot wait to hear more story after you get back from Fla to tell me about the seltbelt at airplane, if the tray fit all the way etc....... SMILE! I am looking forward for my flight in April to compare this from last year where we went to Fla.
Have Fun and have a safe trip!

I just went to Mexico for a week and oh man was it sweet NOT to have to use an extension.. the seatbelt fit and it was so exciting I had trouble not shouting it to everyone in the packed plane.
Keep up the great work and have a blast in Florida.
