Bridgeport Hospital - Pre/Post Meeting Thursday

For those that are still trying to find the right surgeon or for those that are just in the area, you might want to check out Dr. Tran in Bridgeport. He holds his meetings with Laurie Jordan, the nutritionist, the first Thursday of every month in the Bridgeport Hospital 2nd floor cafeteria at 6:00! Normally, they have a guest speaker, but the email did not state whether they will for this meeting. But it is a GREAT place to get the ideas of another surgeon and with his nutiritionist right there, it's like the two birds theory! I will be there - and I am bringing my new, very good friend, Steph, with me. I would love to see some of you there!! Tara

Hi Tara, Dr. Tran was my surgeon too. He is awesome. I didn't get an email about the meeting (it usually comes from Dawn who also works at the hospital). Is the meeting this Thursday or was it last Thursday? I did venture out last night to the Hamden meeting which was great too and very informative. Take care. Thanks, Kelly

Hi Kelly! It is this Thursday night. I just got Dawn's email this morning. If you go Thursday night, just make sure you are on the email list. I went to the Hamden meeting once. It was great fun - and dinner afterwards with some very special OH peeps was ever more fun! I am going to try hard to go to the next one. Hamden is but a hop, skip and a jump away from me. Tara

Hey Tara! I'm going to try to make it this month. Getting to Bridgeport from Greenwich by 6:00 is my major stumbling block. But this week should be okay. Hope to see you then! Kathy F.
