There's always something good in the bad!
This morning I dropped my daughter off at Nursery school. On my way to get back in the car and head to work I slipped on the ice. OUCH!!!!! I twisted my ankle and knee, it hurt so bad (worse than surgery did), I drove straight to the ER (1/8 mile away).
After 3 hours the gave me an ace wrap and said to stay off my leg, ice it and see an orthopedist if it doesn't improve in a week! Also gave me some vicodin if I need it.
Anyways, the Nurse Practitioner could not believe that I had had surgery 3 months ago! She would never had guessed I would had ever been a cantidate and commented on how great I looked and thew fact that I have little sagging skin!
I hit -80 lbs today (WOOHOO!!!!). I can only imagine how much worse this could have been with an extra 80 lbs on my body! Although mytush (where I landed) probably wouldn't be so sore!!
I'm sure I'll be fine for bowling this weekend, but this is one more reason to be thankful I have been given a new lease on life!
Hugs,
Carmen

Oh my! That sounds like it hurt! I hope you are not too sore. I fell in my LR a few months ago..tripped flat on my face. My son strolled upstairs..suprised to see me on the floor...I didn't even make a thud !!!
A few months before I would have shaken the entire house!
Take care of yourself
XOXO
