Hello everyone! Just wanted to update and say Hellooo! Hope everyone is doing well. Life has been crazy here.. getting ready to move to a nice neighborhood..YAY! Well, I'm a little delayed with my 8 month progress pic. I put a new pic in my profile. I'm still in disbelief. It will be 9 months out on the 21st of this month. I can't believe how quickly a year is rolling around!! I'm getting scared that I won't be able to get to any kind of goal by my 1 year anniversary, at the pace I'm going. I guess I'm just going to keep steady, stay positive and work my bunz off.. literally! I've found that popsicles and pumpkin seeds (not together ) are a big help with my snacking at night. I feel more ravenous in the evenings. Pretty soon I'll be starting to work out with a trainer, so that will keep my evenings busy and I won't have to think about snacking. So, nothing exciting happening yet! Can't wait for it to be spring so I can enjoy the mobility I have now outdoors!! Also.. freaky thing! My face is caving in!! I woke up with these dimples.. haha..just so weird.. and check out the collar bones! Who knew? Enough rambling from me! Have a great rest of the weekend! Take care, Michelle

It's great to hear from you Michelle. I am in awe at your picture. You look freakin fantastice girl... You are beautiful. Congratulations on your success. I can't believe it's been nine months already where does time go? Who would of thought that I would be this happy from WLS? So where are you moving to? Back to CT or still in RI? I would love to meet you. Are you planning on going to the bowling party next Sunday? Hugs, Maggie

Same to you Michelle! Have a great day! It's beautiful out there! I was brought up in Putnam, just curious...where are you moving to? I lived on Fremont Street just about my whole life-well, up until I went in the Army! Ann 101 lbs GONE!

Thank you for the compliments ladies! The support I receive here means so much to me. Maggie.. the last time I saw you I was nauseas and out of it from the Morphine and 352 lbs! I do need to make it to a meeting down that way soon!! Ann, I moved from Putnam a few months ago to Cranston, RI. I lived in Putnam for about 6 years. I'm originally from Texas. I'm moving to Warwick, RI. at the end of this month. Also, I added a picture to my profile.. wearing the same jeans as before surgery.. the other day, I actually put these jeans on thinking I was going to wear them to go to my laundry!! I was pretty shocked when I put them on.. such a great feeling. On the other hand, my brain still tells me I'm 350 lbs! AND!! Tonight I was walking into a party and a couple that hasn't seen me in a year didn't even recognize me. When they saw me in the dark, they thought I was my friend (who I don't think is that overweight!). Pretty cool. Anyhow.. thank you all again for your kind words! Take care, Michelle

Hi Michelle! Wow, you look absolutley amazing! You Go! It is funny having collar bones isn't it? I still like feeling them on myself, I could never feel them before. Tom is down 100 pounds since surgery the day before you, so you are doing great with your loss! Keep up the good work! I know it gets frustrating when you are on a plateau or when it starts coming off slower, the first 6 months fly by and that is when we see the most come off we just have to get used to it coming off slower now, but it will! I can't beleive the difference in you! you are beautiful, you were before but all your features are popping out. Is'nt it amazing? I have cousins that are moving to Rhode Island, so maybe when I go visit them sometime we can meet up! I am waiting for my pics to be updated on here, hopefully they will be on soon! I have one like you in my old pants. Make sure you save them so you can take one of yourself inside one of the legs. Take care! MaryJo
