I NEED A DAY OR TWO OF A MENU FOR ALMOST 2 YRS. OUT
I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. I HAVE LOST 130 LB.BUT RECENTLY GAINED BACK. EATTING BREAD AND CRACKERS. I AM SO DEPRESSED THAT I AM NOW SEEING A COUNSELOR AND JOINED CURVES 2 WEEKS AGO. I HOPE I AM ON THE RIGHT TRACK. I WOULD LIKE TO KNO WHAT SOME OF YOU PEOPLE THAT ARE OUT ABOUT YEARS EAT. WHAT IS A DAYS MNU FOR YOU. THOUGHT IF I SEE IT IN BLACK AND WHITE, IT MIGHT HELP ME SEE WHAT I NEED TO DO. I WANT TO LOSE ANOTHER 5 LBS. AND MAINTAIN IT THIS TIME. I AM BESIDE MYSELF AND FEEL LIK A FILURE. Its ok, you should get back on track by calling your surgeon or going back to your support meetings. Networking with others in the WLS family helps alot. Everyone is very supportive and caring.
If you need ideas for menus, go to bariatriceating.com or order some cookbooks through this site. There are alot of resources out there to help us, I have ordered a few cookbooks and I go to the Recipe chat board to find out new types of meals to try.
If you would like I can always send you my menu examples my doctor has given me, but check with your surgeon first hon.

A failure would be someone who did not come to this board and post..who did not join Curves and who did not recognize she needed to see a counselor! I say you are on the right track!! Coming here was the icing on the cake. There is great support here. Post on Kathy's Exercise Log and my food log daily...and read what others are eating too. It really helps. Good Luck..you ARE on the right track!
