OT- Good News
Some of you may remember a few weeks ago that I was job hunting and had a few interviews. I was offered one of the jobs, which I had to decline based on too few hours. I am still waiting on one (they are still in the interview proccess).
One of the refrences I used recieved a call and mentioned to a co-worker (Dean of continuing ed here at the college) that I was looking for a new job. The Dean offered me a position in their office!! To start it would be a general worker until they find me a "titled" position, but they are also willing to work around my schedule here so I don't loose my benefits until I am eligible through them! This is amazing. They know all about my surgery and understand my need to keep medical coverage for follow-up care, but think I am a great worker and would hate to see me leave!
I am just so excited, I wanted to share my joy. I really don't think this would have happened without the wonderful changes I have been experiencing with my WLS journey!
