I can go the entire day and be perfect--drink my water..etc. Night time eating has reared its ugly head again! I am exercising 6 days a week..why am I sabotaging myself this way? There are a zillion things I could be doing...and I honestly am not hungry...its old habits resurfacing again...I need to conquer this. This could really get me in trouble!! On to the food log! B-sf hot chocolate S-protein drink L-perdue chicken..salad w/light dressing D-veggie burger S-salad when I go out with Debby after support group meeting Joanie

Joanie, I have the same problem. Nights are the pits for me. One thing that helps is SF instant pudding made with Carb Countdown FF milk. The stats on it are great, and FF Cool whip has nothing. You can have a couple of servings at night and not have the guilt.... Due to health issues, I am back on my protein shakes and bars diet. I have no appetite. I still feel like I'm missing something if I don't read this thread though. Hugs, Maggie

Maggie Thanks for the suggestion. I bet the CC milk really increses the protein. I have a couple of boxes sitting in my cabinet..waiting to be made. Lauryn loves to "cook" so I will have her put that together for me tonight when I am at the support meeting--all ready for my night time attack tomorrow! Hang in there...better days are coming. When you are feeling better...we need to set a date for April or May for my Mary Kay party. Love, Joanie

Good morning CT... Here is my menu for today: B- Carb Countdown yogurt, 12 gr protein S- Protein shake, 20 gr L- sun-dried tomato & basil wrap with 2 slices deli salami and 1 slice cheese, and 1/2 tsp. horseradish D- corned beef & cabbage (cooking in the crock pot while I'm here at work- yummy). S- handful of unsalted peanuts, 2 tsp. havarti cheese. Water as well. Enjoy your day. Anne

My daughter's daycare provider is sick and had to close today. I couldn't find anyone to watch her until about 12:15, had to bring her to work. My hair is falling out as it is, now I'm ready to pull it out, lol! The good thing is, I have been so busy chasing her around the college I haven't snacked at all! B- Low-carb yogurt w/ granola (15-20g) L- Cottage Cheese (11g) S- Detour Bar (15g) D- Chicken over green salad (20g) S- SF Pudding w/ a few banana slices (6g) Have a great day! Carmen

What a way to stop yourself from snacking and get some exercise too Carmen! Its neat that you have a job that you can take your daughter to..its great that they allow it. The SF Pudding with banana in it sounds wonderful...I need to try that. Heck I need to try all of these recipes I have been saving..I am truely getting bored of eating the same things!! Too busy for bkfst or my protein shake this morning. I had my salad and chicken and 9 baked chips...(120 cal...3 g fat---2g protein) Waiting to have my decaf coffee..then I am going to start drinking my water. I have a lot to make up for! Joanie

When she was a baby she came with me all the time! Now I try not to have her here for too long because she is soooo active! Everytime a customer comes in the store she takes off so I can't chase her! Of course everyone knows her and keeps her occupied until I retreive her! Today she kept sticking something on a male customers behind! I was so embarrased, then she tried to follow him down the hallway! She's a handful but I still love her! I have been devouring everything in sight at night, the bananas add a little more to it so I feel fuller! I have a really yummy sounding recipe for banana cheesecake. It also has pudding in the recipe and easy to make LF & SF...... Anyways, I read that eating cereal at night can help curb nightime eating. I have tried a small bowl of cereal or granola and it does seem to work! Just a thought. Carmen
