Pictures and Mini-Update!

You know how I am when it comes to my pictures - I am always taking them and always uploading them to the web. Saturday night we had the Star 99.9 Listener Appreciation Party. It was a GREAT TIME! In shopping for the party, I went to http://fredericks.com -- haha ohh yess I did! Welp - I didn't receive my shipment in time to wear the stunning business suit that I purchased, so I hit the mall in Milford. I was happy AND mad all at the same time. (Almost like being soft AND contemporary, I suppose) I was happy that I am able to shop at the thin people stores but was mad at the fact that thin people get some serious deals. While this is good for me now, I remember this always being an issue for me. So angry that an outfit would cost me at least $70 no matter what. Now, I got 4 outfits for $70 at Wet Seal. Like I said, nice now - real crappy that you deal with being uncomfortable as a heavy person and not only dislike the way you look, but are reminded that the fashion designers do NOT consider heavy people. Why must plus size clothing be so ugly?!? Anyway - I didn't mean to rant. I simply just want to let you all know that by our decisions to better ourselves, we can feel better about ourselves in so many more ways than one. I guess I am still losing - real slow. About a pound a week or so - but at least I am not gaining. Officially as of .. hang on, lemme step on the scale .. as of right this second, I've lost 95 pounds. I went for a plastics consult and was told in no way, shape or form will insurance cover a tummy tuck because my panni doesn't even really fold over. It just droops. *sigh* So that, coupled with a lift up top would be about $15 grand. Oh well, guess I will have to deal with this thing for .. ever. For the first time in 15 years, I am wearing a size 10. I am very happy but also now discouraged. Without this tummy, I'd probably be a size 6. Am I being selfish? Probably. I think though that I am never satisfied. I will always be looking for ways to better myself inside and out and that is not such a bad thing. Okay enough of my babbling. I have to get to bed. Hey Tara, i havent looked at the pics yet..im sure they look great.but as far as the tummy tuck...get the name of the dr from yale from Linda Wasserman...i think its below $4000 for a tummy tuck !!! no insurance wont cover it but that is better than $15000 Deanna

Hi Tara, My Name is Ann, Dr Bell did my surgery 2 years ago lost over 160 pounds I just had my TT and under arms done in April and total out of pocket it cost me about 5000. The Doctors name is Dr Shin he runs the resident program and it is all self pay for those whose insurance does not cover it. The only thing he wants you out at least a year from your surgery date. Hello Tara: You look fantastic in the pictures you showed. Looks like everyone was having a great time. How is that bar? Its right around the corner from where I live. I know the previous one had a lot of trouble, thank god its gone. It sounds cool, a martini bar. I would love to check it out one night with my husband or my best friend and the girls. Is it a decent place to go to?? Well it looks like your doing real great, keep up the good work. I have lost 36lbs so far and its only a month postop. I am so excited on suceeding with this.
