I am having chinese food tonight. Last time I had it, I had general tso's chicken. It was too sweet and made me sick. I would like to stick to chicken. Does anyone have any entree suggestions? Thanks, Kelly

My favorite is Chicken & Broccoli. Although the sauce isn't the healthiest, it's a nice treat, and no sugar & not deep fried! Carmen

Hi Kelly! I have had chicken teryaki (sp?) with broccoli and have done well with it. The only thing I suggest is to watch your portions! I've overeaten with chinese food once and I learned my lesson! Good luck and have fun! Tammy

General Tso's is a tough one, since it's fried and breaded, two things I have some trouble with now, along with being very chewy. Try chicken and mixed chinese veggies, and ask for it steamed with the sauce on the side. The places around here make a really good ginger sauce that they serve with the steamed ("diet" or "light") items. I also have pretty good luck with chicken chow mein, since it's in a nice, slippery sauce, but to me, the sauce is kind of bland.

Kelly Geneal Tsos Chicken is fried..which is why you probably had a problem with it. Lots of calories too! Stick to chow mein..or chicken/shrimp with chinese vegies. I have not had Chinese yet...hmmm..maybe its time! Joanie
