HI- I just found this CT message board. I have been glued to this website for days reading EVERYTHING written, trying to get a real fix on how I will feel after surgery and what to expect. Needless to say, I'm SO nervous, and excited. Any tips about the hospital stay would be great. I know that is just beginning but I can't think any further than that right now. Thanks!

Best of wishes. I too am anticipating my big day which will be on the 8th. You are in my thoughts and prayers. As to the hospital stay, I would recommend the following items and they have been listed repeatedly: Lip Balm Back scratcher / tongs something to reach with Hairbrush Toothbrush and Toothpaste Underwear Robe and nightgown if so inclined Change of clothes to come home in Seems everything else is covered by the hospital. My very best wishes for a speedy recovery, Lise

Hi Judy, Everyone here is so nice and helpful, you'll love it. Not sure on what to bring to the hospital. My surgery date is 2/15. Haven't really thought about it yet. Hope all goes well for you. Take care. Christine

Hi Judy, Welcome to the Ct Boards. You will never meet a greater bunch of people then right here! I am glad you found us. Good luck with you surgery and please keep us informed. My prayers are going out to you for a speedy recovery. Make sure you bring lip balm to the hospital. That is the one and only thing I could not have been without. Sandy
