You are great role mom to Lauryn! She can look up at you and learned experianced from you wenth through this. It is not easy way to get this surgery. We all know this!
I would like to do powerwalking (like walk faster) this spring when the weather is warmer. Maybe you can do it this spring coming

Hi Kathy,
I haven't been able to work-out at all the past few days. I reinjured my hernia. I am feeling better today. I usually workout at Curves, but not sure that is a good idea so soon. So, I plan on walking today. Gotta do something. I'm gonna use my weights to, on my arms. You are such an insperation to me!

I like the one and two mile walks..because I can alternate between the two..when I don't have a lot of time.. Like tonight..its almost 11pm..and I am going to do the one mile tape now...because I want to get my exercise in today!! I just went to dinner with some wonderful friends..who were all over me with compliments..it felt good. I didnt let the food control me..and I was very content! OK...off to exercise...who is this person that I have become? I am actually loving it!

Twenty minutes is good if that is all you can do...My thinking is..anything is better than nothing!! And another one of my great philosophies is..."don't set yourself up to fail". Don't try to do more than you know you are able to do... I don't mean don't push yourself..but just don't put so much pressure on yourself. Exercising is hard enough...
Did anyone understand that?
