Joanie's Food Log-Monday
Hi gang-
Back to another work week. Good to be back to structure again! I did very well yesterday...got in my exercise too. In the old days..I would fall off the wagon..and just keep going downhill. Nice to know that, for now, anyway..its easy to get back on track the next day. I have this lifetime tool..that I am learnng how to use. All the junk I ate on Sat...gave me a gassy tummy yesterday and constipation...it was NOT worth it!
B-1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ pineapple 15 g
S-Protein drink 30 g
L-perdue chicken w/lite sour cream and salsa 14g
D-Wendy's chilli and a side salad 15g
S-protein bar 13g

Hi Joanie,
It's nice that we can get right on track again, isn't it? My problem is with the exercising, I used to stop and stay stopped, now if I skip a day, I go right back to it the next, AND I don't beat myself up over it anymore! I just try to do the best I can and realize that I am human and will not change overnight. This is a journey I will be on for the rest of my life...
Here is the menu:
B- Carb Countdown Yogurt, 12 gr protein
S- Protein shake, 20 gr protein
L- salad w/feta cheese and LITE caesar vinagrette
D- planning on steak and g/beans, but hubby is going to my brother-in-laws to help him with something, and will probably end up eating there.
If so, I may just nuke up a hot dog...(No roll of course)
S- tbsp. of reduced-sugar peanut butter, 2 tsps. havarti cheese w/chives

It sure is cold again and all this snow is just crazy!!! Wish I had the day off, but the college is open and I am here. It's been crazy most of the day, but I did get to meet Pam. She looks wonderful, I didn't even recognize her!
B- 1 slice banana bread (made w/ splenda)
S- CC Skim w/ chocolate Unjury (32g)
L- Either the insides of a lean pocket or 1/2 c cottage cheese (Depends if I can sneak away and use the microwave) (~10g?)
S- Detour S'mores bar (15g)
D- Chicken & a veggie (21g)
S- SF Jello if anything
