I Crossed my legs!

Hello all my friends, I had quite an exciting weekend. It stated on Friday when I was sitting in a chair and actually crossed my legs! I was shocked and it was so comfortable. It has been years and years since I have been able to do that. On Saturday I was having my monthly picture taken for my WLS scrapbook. I have used the same shirt every month and it started out so tight and now 5 months later it is so big! I told my daughter that I wanted to now start with another shirt which has been too tight for years and work my way into it. Well the 3 shirts I had all fit now, which means that I now am smaller then I have been in at least 15 years! On Sunday we went to Kohls and after reading Joanie's message about her new jeans with the zipper front I decided I would also try a pair. I didn't try them on in the store, but decided on a nice pair of size 14 petit. I brought them home and as I was trying them on I thought to myself there is no way these are going to fit, well they did fit and I have been strutting around like you wouldn't believe! I am so happy and excited, this surgery was a godsend! Love, Sandy

Hi Sandy, That is such a nice feeling to cross our legs again. I do it all the time now that I can. It makes me feel good. It's also wonderful that you fit into a size 14!! I am still in a 16, but I am happy about it too. Size 14 is next for me... Anne

Sandy I am glad I inspired you to go shopping! I have that affect on people! Size 14 petitie~~ You skinny girl! Doesn't it feel great? You deserve this!! We all do! I am going to wear my new bathing suit to water aerobics tonight...its a bit snug..but it fits...instead of being one of the bigger people in my class I am one of the smaller ones! Hey Sandy, I, too, can cross my legs! Isn't it marvelous??? I also bought a pair of jeans at Kohl's (Levi's size 16P) Yahoooo! I also tucked my shirt in for the first time in almost 20 yrs!!!! and I wore a belt! Isn't this grand???? Even though I've been on the world's longest plateau, I am still grateful to have had this surgery! Congrats to you!!!! You look awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS Get a smaller shirt JA
