St Francis Support Group Mtg - Dr. Raftopoulos' Patients

The next support group meeting is Tuesday, August 26th.....is anyone going??  I want to go, never been to a support group mtg before and not sure what to expect.

I think I'm gonna go....I just hope it's not one of those things where ya gotta get up and say "hi My name is..."....okay that sounds like an Eminem song....anyway, I just wanna sit back and listen to what the nutritionist has to say.  I haven't been been to her since I had my surgery and I am not that great with knowing how food all works together - good carbs vs bad, etc.  And I'd like to hear more about what other post ops are doing as far as eating and exercising.

How was the meeting?  Are they worth going to?  I was thinking about attending but wanted to wait to hear what you all had to say about it.

The support group was great, we had over 20 people and the best part of it is the feeling of not being the only one.  Everyone is different and you learn and ask questions, so when ever you have a chance just stop by. Hope to see you next month!   Take care, Carolyn

it was great mickey there were alot of ppl and u just talk and ask ? if u want u dont have to u can just listen to. i norm dont like meeting thing like this but it was kool and every 1 is nice. u should go to the next one if u can, jen never showed up  michelle and i were disapionted anyways but it was kool
