Boy is it ever hard not to munch and munch today! Being cooped up in the house just makes me want to go from snack to snack. Anyone else doing this? At least I am mixing it up with an apple here and there, but it's still bad. I also wanted to know if anyone else can relate to this. I can eat Chinese food which I loved pre op easily. My problem is, every single time I don't listen to my body and my stomach just aches for hours. Usually, my hint that I am full is that I hiccup, but when it comes to Chinese food, I lose all self control. And I pay for this with an overfull belly. I guess the lesson here is that my relationship with food needs to change permanently if I am to make this keep working for me. Good Girls game today! They are finally starting to click. Linda, have you been watching? The guys are on tonight so it's a BB day in our house. Love to all! Cheryl

Hey Cheryl, : Of course I am watching!!! Actually Mary Lou and I got season tickets to the Civic Center games but we decided not to go today due to the weather. We figured it was Seaton Hall and we had better win that one. I am gearing up for tonight's men's game. I have been trying hard not to munch today but ..........sigh. Tonight will be tough. As far as Chinese Food goes........well I was weaned on Chinese food (it was my mother's craving) and it has always been my favorite. I do eat it still but I find that I am not as apt to have it as often as I used to. I realized that most of the things I liked were breaded and fried and of course the fried rice and since I am not eating rice anymore and trying to stay away from breaded things the choices are fewer but New Year's Eve we went to the buffet and I had several different kinds of shrimp and the inside of an egg roll. It was yummy. I do know what you mean about over eating though. Sometimes I do it on purpose hoping that will stop me from munching later in the evening but that doesn't work either. . I am all for any ideas folks have to help break the munching, noshing etc. habit. How are you feeling????? You haven't said much lately. I hope the pain has disappeared???? Linda

Hi Linda! I've been thinking about you today with all the BB! I am watching the men's game now and looking at that sea of blue. All students, how great is that? All the season ticket holders gave up their seats to them tonight and boy are they putting on a great show! I love it! I am feeling very well, NO MORE PAIN!! Dr. Reinhold is a gem. I am so grateful to him, I am almost completely healed, still cannot lift so no shoveling for me! yippee...... I am so glad to see I am not the only Chinese food addict. I don't eat the rice either, but love egg rolls and spring roll and all the veges and terriyaki beef. Just love it all!! I am not so keen on Italian, it fills me up too quickly. It's always so good to hear from you, give Mary Lou my love, Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, It REALLY is hard not to eat all day today. I went out to get some chili and some movies before staying in for the night. I had some chili, then some pretzels, so that's the worse thing I've done today. As for chinese, I loooove it.. but luckily, that's the one thing that I can't tolerate. I don't know what it is, but I tried, various dishes and still throw it up... so I kind of gave up. My stupid brain still craves it though!! I'm at the point with my weightloss where I feel I'm all on my own again.. but somehow I know I can do it this time... but why couldn't I do it alone before?? Crazy! Well, have a safe and warm weekend. Take care, Michelle

It is very hard not to eat constantly.... I am fine when I am at work or out and about, but when I'm home I feel like I can't stop! I guess that's why I hate being home now..... I do love chinese food, try to stick with chicken & cbroccoli and maybe a couple bites of whatever my husband has, but I know that overly full feeling..... Stay warm! Carmen
