Thanks Kathy,
I had not seen that report....I really think...this surgery does more good than bad...I was that 42 year old woman with congestive heart failure....WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE...I have already outlived the cardiologists predictions...had I not had this surgery...
there are always risks in life....the biggest risks after surgery....are the men!!!!!!!!!!!! never thought I would be tired of the way they look at me now....LOL
again Kathy, thanks for sharing!

LOL I love that too and I am still not small by anyone's standards (Just made 213 the other day.) It's great when the hubby is with me. He was always checking out other women (still does) but it's great when the men are checking me out and he gets upsets. I just smile and say paybacks a biotch.

Eileen posts on another message board that I am active in, she really has had a tough go with it, but her complications are definitely in the minority with this surgery. She'll be the first to tell you that for so many people it is a lifesaver, she just happened to be one of those with complications that were severe.
Is she doing better? I thought as I read it that there was a bad editing job to make it look totally negative. I haven't been as sick as her but I have not had an easy time myself. I have been under anesthesia (sp?) 5 times in 7 months. When I saw my dr for my 6 month checkup and schedule surgery I told him it was the sickest 6 months of my life but I would do it again in a heatbeat. My body is NOT bouncing back after this last surgery. It's just had too much. I also went to Utah for vacay this year and had altitude sickness for the first time in my life. I used to go on vacay there all the time since I have friends there.
