Good morning everyone... hope you are staying warm! I am back to work today and I am already getting tired. I have a feeling this may be a long day... Thank goodness it is a short week... What did you guys do to try and build up your energy to be productive at work? (As it is... my "backup" didnt back me up to well and I am 500+ emails deep and need to answer all of them... I normally have a 24 hour turn around time...) Sorry.. had to vent... Thanks, Beckie

Hi Becky, It is really tough getting started back at work. I just did the best I could. I don't think there is anything you can do to build up your energy, your body needs lots of rest, and everyday it will build more energy on it's own. The first week back was tough, the second week was easier, etc... Good luck, and don't push yourself too hard! Anne

Good Morning Beckie!! You sure are alot stronger than me!! I can't believe you went back already. My sister came to visit me yesterday..finally...and she informed me that we have such a back log in appeals and she so begged me to hurry up and go back. YEAH RIGHT!! Oh let me stop Jan 31 will be here before u know and back to Aetna I go She also so nicely told me that I have at least 50 gastic bypass surgeries in appeal status and they decided to put them on my work list...that so totally sucks!! I hate giving people bad news.. I hope something really big happens and the insurance companies give up this so stupid notion of not covering the surgery...if only it were up to me...I'd invent a magic button and APPROVE APPROVE APPROVE. Don't work to hard Chica!! See you soon Erminia

Whew... this day is so slow... I am just thinking that tomorrow will be better and then next week will be better than this week. I think I will be fast asleep at 5:00 tonight... haha.

I went back after 2 weeks, and I had open! I started at week 3 with 1/2 days and then week 4 went to full days. Honestly, I found that taking a cat nap during my lunch made a big difference. I just closed my office door and I had a co-worker wake me by knocking on my door in 20 minutes. I told my boss what I was doing and why and she was fine with it. Don't know if you can do the same, but a period of rest really was key to my making it through the dats to begin with. It did get better quickly though. Hang in there! Best, lisa C
