Norwich Support group

Hello All: The new Norwich Support group will be meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 6:30 at Three Rivers Community College at the Thames Valley campus on New London Turnpike. WLS support group signs will be posted in the lobby. Hope to see you there. Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, I'm so glad that this meeting is happening! I had my surgery on Jan 4 and I have wanted to go to a meeting ever since. My first post op appointment will be Wednesday morning and hopefully the Doctor will remove all of the staples and then I can drive myself to the meeting. My family has been carting me around and I just couldn't bring myself to ask them to take me all the way to New Haven for a meeting. The last meeting at Lawrence Memorial was on a night when it snowed so again I didn't think it would be fair to ask someone to drive me. I really look forward to meeting you and Carmen and all the other WLS members in our area. Living in Plainfield and having the surgery in New Haven has been a little difficult sometimes with the commute but Norwich will seem like a breeze. See you on Wednesday! Love and Peace Anne B
