Hi all I am looking for some quick things to eat for bkfst...any suggetions. I HATE yogurt..really wish I liked it...thought tastes might change after surgery..but they didn't. I have been switching off from hard boiled eggs--and toasted cheese on rye. I forgot to buy some cottage cheese which is my other alternative breakfast. Would love to hear some ideas out there. OH..has anyone tried Snickers Marathon bars. I had a taste of the one I bought yesterday...pnut butter...it was very good. A little hefty in the calorie dept at 170..but a bigger bar than momentum and 14g of protein. I may split this up and eat it at two diffrent times a day. I bought the choc brownie one too..will report back on how that tasted. B-toasted cheese on rye 13g S protein drink 30 g L- protein drink..30 g be at bday party for my niece at 2pm..want to eat my afternoon meal there will post later late dinner-string cheese wrapped with roast beef 10g Brining 2 bottles of propel to the party...oh and dirinking them too! Hi Joanie, I do a variety of things for breakfast sometimes and others I eat the same things day after day.... However my usual suspects are 3 slices of pre-cooked Oscar Meyer Bacon (70 cal.) and then either some cottage cheese with a bit of sour cream and lots of garlic salt, or Kellogs Low Carb Cereal with 1 % milk and maybe some fresh blueberries if I have them. I also like the Thomas's Lite Multi Grain English Muffins with either some Carb Option Peanutbutter or No Sugar Raspberry Perserve on it although I must admit to putting some cream cheese on my english this am. I will eat eggs once in a while usually with some cheese in it. However most days my breakfast is the bacon and an Atkins Choc. Chip Breakfast bar. Hope these give you some ideas. Linda

JOanie, I really like the Special K low carb..i have trieda lot of them including the kashi's and the carb something or other inthe blue box..everything tastes like cardboard to me. But the special K one is pretty good. I use it with Simply Smart fat free milk....i slowly drink the milk afterwards and the two are great sources of protein. For the milk ibelieve it is 10 grams of protein per 1 cup and the special k is 10 grams of protein per 3/4 cup. HOpe this helps..iknow breakfast can be repetitive...also try fruit in your cottage cheese for a different flavor...no protein in the fruit, but its healthy none the less.. haveagreat day Deanna
