Baking with Unjury???

I bought a low carb banana nut muffin mix and I was wondering if I can add some Unjury Unflavored protein powder to the mix to increase the protein. Has anyone tried baking with Unjury?? I am interested to try this! Joanie

I believe I read on their website (this was a while ago and I am blonde) that heat does not affect the protein in it, just the texture (like lumpy soup!). I tried to find it on the web-site again, but couldn't. I would try it!

Yes, Carmen I knew about putting it in liquids and heating it..just wondered if it you mixed it really well what would happen. I am going to add a scoop to half the batter and see what happens. Oh While at the Unjury site..I found this..a good way and low cal way to boost protein. 1. Hi-Pro Jell-O Use Sugar Free Jell-O Follow directions for preparation of a 4 oz/4 servings box of Sugar Free Jell-O, any flavor Follow package directions for dissolving Jell-O in boiling water. Measure ? cup of cold water. Add two scoops of Unflavored UNJURY to cold water, one scoop at a time, stirring slowing to dissolve. Add ice to water with UNJURY to equal one cup. Stir UNJURY with ice into dissolved Jell-O until ice has melted Place in freezer for at least 30 minutes to chill quickly. Important Comments: -- The protein will settle somewhat toward the bottom, but the taste is unchanged. -- If you like this recipe with UNJURY Unflavored (\\\\\\\"UU\\\\\\\"), you might also like it substituting the Vanilla UNJURY for UU. -- 1 cup Jell-O as prepared has 20 grams of protein Joanie

I haven't tried that but I did try the pudding. There was too much powder or something because it tasted terrible, I threw it out! Maybe with less powder or maybe using vanilla or chocolate powder it would be better....
