Hair loss is stopped

Just like a switch was flipped when I hit my six month anniversary (last week), the hair stopped falling out. I used to get quite a few strands from the drain after a shower, now it's about two or three, tops! I'm hoping this continues of course. Another thing I've noticed...my eyelashes now curl! They never used to, unless I curled them...now they seem fuller and they actually curl up! HUH!? I have hit a plateau since Christmas...stuck at 90 lbs. Oh, some days it's 91 or 92...but then it's back to 90. I'm really trying not to sweat it...I know it's normal..but of course, it's also normal to have that little voice in my head saying that I'm not going to lose another pound! I have not been walking due to the weather. I can't use my treadmill...there is something wrong with it...it goes waaaayy too fast...I'm hurting myself using it. My knees and bad back hurt something awful after just 20 minutes on it. So, this weekend I'm going to Target and buying that Walk Away the Pounds DVD....wish me luck! I'll be walking in place in my living room! Sounds like FUN! Well...it will have to do until the nice weather comes back around (when I'll be about 30 lbs lighter!) Oh, and yesterday I went to Kohls to buy slacks (I needed them for a funeral today) and guess what? SIZE 20 BABY! I could have bought size 18...but they were a little snug (like I used to wear all my clothes back in the day)...and I figured I'd rather have them feel loose than snug. Even though I will be giving them away at the next support group meeting I hope...I spent the $$ to get them. Someone else will get the benefit...nice black Dockers-stretch...very comfy. Ann 90 lbs GONE!

HI Ann! Nice to see a FACE to your name now! Glad to hear you're doing so well. I just wanted to chime in that I stopped losing my hair right around last month too. I didn't think it was going to stop.. I had handfuls coming out. Funny thing is, Debby at Dr. Valin's told me in July that it would stop around December. She knew what she was talking about. I'm glad it did too. We're in the same plateau boat. Hopefully that changes.. from what I gather by everyone elses experiences, it will. I just keep in mind the many times I said "I'm not losing another pound, I just know it " and then low and behold, another 10 or so is gone out of no where. Keep up the good work!!
