Welcome to the CT board! I met you when you accompanied Julie to the Hamden support group meeting in Nov. and you went out to dinner with us afterward. You and I were the 2 pre-ops at that dinner. Now I'm a post-op and you're on your way. Good luck with your pre-op requirements. I'm sure Julie is a big help to you, but feel free to come here any time you want more opinions or suggestions.

It's been a long time, hasn't it? I've been following Julie's journey for some time now. She's doing wonderfully. I know that we are all very happy for her success so far. I welcome you to the boards and OH.com and hope for you to have the same success that Jules has had.
I myself am now 3 years out...and am happier than I have been since high school.

Welcome to the WLS CT family. As you can see everyone here is wonderful. I have been a member a short time and the response was amazing. They are always here when you need a question answered or just to talk. Keep up the good word, can't wait to welcome you to the losing side.
The journey is well worth it, believe me. I had my surgery (Gastric-Laporscopic) 12/30/04 and I feel great have lost almost 30lbs. You will always have a family here no matter what. Everyone is very caring and helpful.
