just saying hello to you all, and thanking you for your postings.... I'm soaking up the info it also helps to have Julie as my sister... I just had my meeting with the doc on 1/11 now trying to set up all my appointments... ohh well talk to ya soon

Hi Michael. Welcome to the boards. I see that you are a fireman. Do you work for the one in Plainville? Just curious because my DH works with an ambulance service out that way and they did a fire there the other day and took out a few of the firemen and was wondering how they made out. Good luck on your upcoming journey into WLS. Heidi

hello heidi, yes i am a vol. fireman in plainville and also a fulltime F.F. in groton. I was at that fire and yes 4 of my brothers went to the hospital thankfully 3 with minor injuries and 1 with some burns to his head and back... but everybody is fine and they will move on to the next one. thank you for your concern.......

HI Michael- I met you at the support group in Hamden, when you came with Julie a few moths ago! Welcome to the boards--good luck to you as you go through the "process" I am sure Julie has lots of answers for you..but keep posting for some extra added support. It makes all the difference! Hugs Joanie
