Hi guys, I just got back from my 2 week visit with Dr. A. and all went well. I saw Debby Marcus in the waiting room and she looks great!!!! I got there and Lois put me on the scale.... DRUMROLL, PLEASE!!!! My highest weight ever was 255... today I came in at 235!!!!!!! ****************** Down 20 pounds!!***************** He looked at my incision and said (with a puzzled look on his face) "Why is your incision so long?" I said... Well, I was asleep at that time, you tell me! HAHA. We decided that it was because of the gall bladder removal and the liver biopsy. He said that everything looked fine and to go to Stage 4. YAY!!!!! I am going back on the 28th for another check up and then will progress to stage 5. I am having eggs tonight.... DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!!! Other than that... all is well! DEBBY and ERMINIA... your turn to update us!!! Hugs, Beckie

WTG Beckie! Dr. A prides himself on a 5 1/2 in*****ision...did the nurses tell you the story about how he came up and measured all of his patient's scars one day to prove to them..his scars with no more than 5.5 inches? Anyway...in honor of you and Debby..I had scrambled eggs for dinner too! Let me know how it tasted! Hugs Joanie

Hi Beckie! Great job on the loss!!!!! I also had a good visit with Dr.A!!! He said everything looked great! I told him I'm still feeling kinda weak and he said that was to be expected that it would get better with time Well here goes since the day of surgery I have lost a total of 28 pounds!!! Since I started this whole ordeal this makes a total of 43 pounds!!! This made me really happy. He also progressed me to stage 4 and I also had eggs....but they made me sick...I think I ate them to fast. Thats something I have to really work on is eating really slow. I have an appointment with him on the 25th and he said most likely by then I will be on stage 5. (this scares me) Glad to hear you doing so good!! See you soon! Erminia

WOW YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME Glad to hear you are both doing so nicely. I obsessed about scrambled eggs and they were the best tasting thing I ever had in my life. I also had a problem with eating too fast and too quickly,....solved it by using a baby spoon...forces you to take little bites....does'nt make you chew though....you have to chew really good. Your food has to be really moist in the beginning or it's really tough to get down. good luck to both of you Hugs angel

Beckie, You are doing great. I had an egg for my first meal too and had trouble with it... Just a few tiny bites and I felt so full!

Beckie~ I have problems with real eggs even 3 1/2 months post-op. I use egg beaters and they are heavenly ! I like them because I can even get them at most diner/breakfast places and not feel gross after I eat. Keep on losin' Stacey
