2 week visit today!
I have my two week check up with Dr. A today at 3:30. I am sure he will put me on pureed foods... what did you guys eat first (and could tolerate)?
I have had such strange cravings over tha past week... things like spagetti sauce (or anything with it), pizza, and the strangest of all.... fish sticks. They humor me a bit but.... when my family is eating dinner... I cant even be in the same room because I want to devour everything...
and then I think back to why I did this...
UGH! What a mental tug of war!
What does Dr. A do on your 2 week visit... just look at your insicion and discuss things... right?
Have a wonderful day!!!!!

You have dreams of eating this stuff..but wait until your first bite of "real" food...even pureed--you will be lucky to get in a spoonful or two! My first soft meal was a scrambled egg..I made 2 of them..ate about 1/3 of one egg! The dog had a ball! Good luck with your visit with Dr. A today...

>> what did you guys eat first
The single egg was a milestone for me (I only ate half of it). I never had an egg that tasted so good. Sugar-free applesauce, sugar-free Jello pudding, cream of wheat, and sugar-free oatmeal. I ignored these foods before surgery, now they are still some of my favorites.
I found it very important to vary my foods so I would not to quickly tire of any one of them.
