Thank You Thank You Thank You for alll the Birthday Wishes.
My birthday went very well. Yesterday my family and friends threw me a surprise 30th Birthday Party. 
It was very nice. My mom started to cry when I first got there and she said she didn't know why. She said it could be because it finally hit her that her baby is 30 or because of all I've been through in the past year to see me so happy and healthy. We all hung out, talking about the good old days and played cards and boy did I ever graze that night. But I figured it was my birthday so 1 day wouldn't kill me.
I went to the mall with my dear friend Heidi because her car broke down and she said she had to pay a bill at Kay jewelers. Well, I fell in love with this beautiful cross. I have been lost without my old cross which fell in a crack in the molding between my bathroom vanity and the wall years ago and the only way to get it out is to gut out the bathroom...lol It is tri tone with diamond cut accents...omg I loved it. Anyway I told the woman I would be back in a couple paychecks to get it, wrote down the sku number. Later saturday night my friend ended up surprising me with an early Birthday present (she told me she wouldn't be seeing me on my birthday to cover up the party that was planned). Yes... She surprised me with the cross I picked out. 
I was so shocked mostly because it was very pricey and I would have never expect to get something so extravagant. It was very sweet and so precious. I will cheri**** forever. She has been a great support throughout my whiole surgery process and she always tells me how proud she is of me. 
The same friend also helped me tonight buy my birthday present to myself. I went and bought myself a new bed. She helped because she put it on her line of credit which was so very cool of her. I had to do it now because my back is still giving me lots of trouble and my doc gave me the lecture seeing that most days I wake up crippled....lol kinda made sense to get a better/new bed. I am hoping this will alleviate some of those days when it actually hurts to breathe, walk or move at all. I'm crossing my fingers and praying this does the trick.
My friend David went with me tonight to pick out sheets and a quilt for my new bed 
and the sweet friend that he is ended up buying me these awesome Jersey sheets ( since I am freezing all the time these will be very nice and warm) I also got roses today from my friend Lisa. Ain;'t I such a brat...lol I will admit my friends spoil me rotten. I must say I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for or dream of. Anyway.....
(I will stop babbling) I can't believe I'm 30. It didn't start hitting me till yesterday. Having a little bit of stress over it But I must say I feel great. Sunday was my 5 month anniversary since WLS and I am down 95 lbs. I am very excited. I cant wait till the next 95 comes off. Thank you again for all your birthday wishes.
Anyone planning on attending next weeks Support Group meeting in Middletown on the 17th? I will be there with bells on. Can't wait to see everyone again. Let me know if anyone wants to go out after. I have the next few mondays off so I plan on attending all the meetings while I do. I hope everyones weekend went well. Hugs. Love you all.

Yeah..you are a brat...but we love you! You are blessed with some awesome friends! Family is wonderful..but everyone needs good supportive friends. I bet you are as good to them as they are to you. Sounds like a wonderful birthday..you sure deserved it. Keep up the good work Julie! We are so proud of you too!
