Looking for Yale info

Lisa- At the Hamden suppor group meeting there was a speaker who had gone to the Reconstructive Surgery Clinic at Yale. She has great things to say about them..and the cost was reduced. I will try to find that telephone number..I know I wrote it down. Joanie

Hi Lisa, It is Dr. Grant Thompson and people in our New London Support Group Meeting have used him and they can't rave enough about him. Mary who sometimes posts on here used him and was very happy with the results she had, maybe if she sees your post she will write to you about her experience with Dr. Thompson. Dr. Bell has brought Dr. Thompson to our meetings and he has always been full of information for us and very truthful and honest about the procedures. When I reach goal I will be looking him up to fix me up also. Good Luck Lisa! Beth

Hi Lisa, I have already seen Dr. Thomson at Yale. He has also come to a few of our support group meetings at Yale as well as in New London. Dr. Bell's office made the referral and then I got a call for an appointment. However I do have a phone number that you can try. I am supposed to call Annette at 203-785-2571 when I am ready to schedule the actual surgery. I got a quote of $3,400 for the abdominalplasty. I didn't ask the prices of the other procedures as I know I won't have the money for them and the TT is a priority for me. Dr. Thomson is the attending surgeon and he or one of the other attendings scrub in for every surgery even though the residents are also assisting. I know some people from the support group who have had their work done there and have been very happy. Let me know if you have any more questions. I do have Dr. Thomson's email address if you want.
