Erminia I had a hard time drinking all the fluids at first too. There is not much anyone can do except tell you to keep trying. I did much better with warm liquids..like decaf tea. Once you step on the scale and see the weight coming off..things will change for you. Its not an easy surgery...there is so much healing going on...physically and emotionally. Hang in there...it does get better. Blessings Joanie

It is normal to feel depressed after surgery. You're now dealing with the reality of life after surgery which can be pretty overwhelming at times. The smaller dose of the Zoloft is probably contributing as well. Feel better, this will pass. Hugs, Maggie

Hi Rebecca, You are totally normal! You are mourning the loss of "food" which was our best friend for most of our lives. It will pass, trust me. I'm 6 months out, and I don't mourn the food thing anymore. I just ENJOY the weight loss. It's awesome and worth it. But I DO KNOW how you are feeling. Take one day at a time, and use this board for all the help you need. Everyone here knows exactly how you are feeling. We've all been through it, and we are all in this together. JA
