Hello Everybody, Thank you for sharing your excercise log with me ! SMILE! I feel lousy this morning. I got my period and feel alot of cramps and bloating in my stomach but I am going to do my excercise tonight because I remember my personal trainer said excercise should help reduced cramps. You know getting a better workout will strengthen your immune system and keep disease from getting a hold of your body. I did not see my personal trainer yesterday because of ice road so I did my excercise at home last night. 5 min warmup on trendmill hold ball and do squats 20 for 3 sets 20 for 3 sets for push up by using excercise ball doing leg lift up for thighs 20 for 3 sets 20 for 4 sets for sit up by using excerise ball ( my personal trainer said this is wrong ; must be 3 sets of 20 so I better listen what she said because she have alot of experience in excercise than me SMILE) triceps 20 for 3 sets went on treadmill for 25 min slow down for 1 min I strentgh out all over my body before I ended my excercise how do you make out for your excercise ? Here are my exercises for Friday Morning: 30 minutes on CrossTrainer 20 minutes on the Rower 10 minutes ab exercises 10 minutes stretching Done until Monday - smile Everybody have a GREAT weekend! Beth

Morning! Last night, I did a step aerobics class. It was great. It was 45 minutes of step (cardio) and then ended with 15 minutes of upper body toning and then stretching. I feel a little sore today, but it's the good sore. Tonight, I'm taking the kids ice skating! Wish me luck! I haven't done it it years, but I'm trying to add movement in all of our activities. It can only help! Tammy

That is alot of Cardio from this step aerobic!! Keep it up!! Dr Aranow calls this Good Pain when we have sore muscles! SMILE! Let me kinow how things are going from ice skating? SmilE!!! Hugs Kathy K

Good morning! Today I exercised for 20 minutes on my elliptical machine. I look at everyone else's workout, and mine kind of lags behind. Everyone is doing so much. Maybe I will build up to that, who knows. At least I am doing it now, and I feel good. I have more energy during the day now. Tammy, what a coincidence - I am planning on taking my 5 yr old daughter and 10 yr old niece ice skating tomorrow also. I haven't been on skates since I was 16 - that's 27 years ago! (OUCH!) Last year my daughter who was then 4 went to a skating party. I weighed 313 pounds, and there was no way I was going to put on skates. She had to go her first time alone. She held on to the railing all the way around one time - it took like a half hour. I felt so bad. All the other mom's were skating with their kids, but I couldn't do it. It was a low point for me, due to my obesity. I can't wait until tomorrow! She won't have to miss out on stuff anymore, nor will I!! Enjoy your day! Anne

Anne Remember you jsut started to excercise few days ago and you will build up more times soon. Keep it up Let me know how do you make out for ice skates? I have not use it for a lonnnnnnggggg time and maybe I will try to take my kids to go skating at Conn College in New london. I know I will fall down alot LOL Have a nice weekend! Hugs Kathy K

I am going to try to get to the Y this evening. If not Maybe my daughter and I will bowl a couple games while my husband does his league. I am so excited today about the job interviews that I'm practically bouncing off the walls! I wish I could go ride an exercise bike or something for a while, but then I'd be all sweaty before my next interview!

I am so glad it went very well from one of your job interviews and you will excercise more this weekend before heading up for next job interview! SMILE! Hi Kathy and everyone- Yesterday--I didn't get to exercise. Everyone in my house is sick..except for me. I have to admit--I was taking down Christmas decorations...I just needed to get that stuff out of my house once and for all! I have never been this late getting the stuff out..it was really bothering me! Today I am happy report--I walked almost 3 miles with my friend. The sidewalks weren't that clear so we walked around this one long block SIX times! It felt good..my legs are sore..I think the water aerobics are really making me use muscles I don't use when walking. Its ALL good. I have been trying not to get on the scale daily..but did today and I am down 75 pounds. I really feel like I have make a change this week...cutting down on the carbs and increasing the exercise (Thanks to Kathy)...Have a great weekend gang! Hugs, Joanie
