Plateau.......!!!
BLAH! I just wanted to vent. I'm 7 months post op now and the weight loss has come to a dead stop. I've lost a whole FOUR lbs. in the past 2 months! What the heck?! I know I haven't been all that great with eating all the "holiday food", but even so.. I couldn't have eaten enough to keep me from losing.
I've been doing my best to stick with locarb this year, so hopefully that works. Is this kind of plateau normal? AND for this long?? 2 months seems a bit extensive. My new 22's are falling off.. even though the scale isn't moving, but I still don't see how?!
So, any ideas on how to get back into the swing of things? How am I ever going to reach a "goal" by my 1 year anniversary?? I see people going from 30/32 to size 4's within a year.. so wtf is wrong with me??
Thanks for listening to me p*ss and moan.
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
Have you excercise yet? Try to increase protein and drink alot of water no Carbs to see if it is working for you. Don't give up and keep what I told you and see what happened in next two weeks later. dont weight yourself until two weeks later Promise me!??

Hope to see you at bowling on Feb 13th
Your body has to catch up to the scale sometimes. As frustrating as it is to not see any loss, at least you know your body is still changing! Hang in there and just try to reduce carbs and calories.... I have started a journal and also doing Fitday. I was shocked at how much fat and calories have crept in!
Good Luck,
Carmen
Michelle-
That is what we are here for..to listen to you. The good, the bad and the ugly!
You have done marvelously well..and you look fantastic! I am six months out and the scale is slower lately too. I am trying to jump start it all with some extra exercise...and cutting down/out on carbs. Don't beat yourself up..you have not gained... You have done so well...
Hugs

Hi Michelle,
Aren't plateau's the worst thing? Well, next to ice storms, but I didn't have to drive in it so I'm not complaining. Anyhoo - it might be a good idea to start paying attention to inches more than your scale. Maybe by a pair of jeans that are a size or two smaller than what you are now, and use them as a gauge for your success.
According to my scale I gained 5 pounds today. Ya, whatever.
So, I think a shopping trip is a must!!
Good luck!
