Hello Everybody, What a lousy weather this morning and I had to drive to work this morning. The road at highway was not clearly and My kids have no school today. Wish all of us don't have to go work today which will be nice for all of us to have time for excercise. Last night I did my workout. I started 5 min warm up on Treadmill, then did ab excercises 20 for three sets which total is 60 for my upper Abs, did my thighs 12 for 3 sets, works on my triceps with 10 pounds of dumb bell weight for 12 for 3 sets then strength my muscles each set ,I used my excercise ball to push up 20 for 3 sets, rode my excercise bike for 15 min and used my treadmill for 20 min then 1 min slow down. I strength all over before I ended my excercise. I was all sweaty and drink alot of water after this. Tonight I know my personal trainer will make me more work harder for an hour at the Gym. She is going to show me how to excercise for lower Abs for sit up which I need it badly . EXCERCISE PARTY Let's join our bowling party at Disco bowling in Newington , Ct. on Feb 13th at 500 pm. Cost $7.00 (includes bowling and shoe rental plus Prizes) It is fun to go bowling no matter if you are good or not. We excercise by carry ball and move our arms and alot of laughging. We will enjoy our times there. I am going there and will meet new and old faces there. I ma praying for no snowing storm on that day!!!! Everybody Did you do your excercise yesterday or need help to make motiviated? YOU CAN DO IT AND GO FOR IT!! Kathy K

Happy Snowy Day Kathy, My exercises this morning were: 20 minutes on the CrossTrainer 45 minutes Free Weights 10 minutes Ab exercises 10 minutes stretching exercises Wish I didn't have to come to work today and could go out and play in the snow, but than again if I didn't come to work I wouldn't get to exercise at the gym I go to is at work - smile Have a great day - smile Beth

Hi Beth I am curious what company you are working for? That is great you go to gym before you go to work because there are less people at gym in that early morning. Kathy K

Hi Kathy, I work at Pfizer in New London and we have a great gym here looking out on the Long Island Sound and it opens at 5:30 every morning and I am their at 5:30 each morning - smile

Yes Joanie, It is GREAT! Otherwise I probably wouldn't exercise, as it is now I only do it Monday thru Friday when I work and I don't do anything on the weekends, I know I am bad - smile -

Kathy- You really DO a great workout! Last night the water aerobics class was more intense..just what I needed. I told the instructor, I wasn't even sore after Monday's class..so I guess she got the hint! I really think I am going to keep this up! Tonight, if I cannot walk..I think I will pay the 3 bucks for "open swim" at the town pool and do my own water aerobics! Maybe I can get one of my walker friends to go with me! Now that I am learning the basics of this..there is no stopping me from doing this myself! I may join the pool membership and save myself some money. Joanie

Hi Joanie You can go for swim laps in the pool and that is good excercise like backstroke. Why you do not like Treadmill machine? just curious because you like walking. hope you will find buddy trainer to keep you company and shape up. I am so proud of you to keep your excercise so far! Kathy I just find the treadmill so boring!! I have tried everything to make it interesting..and this thing sits here and collects dust. It IS good to hang clean laundry on though..so I keep it around. I will not get rid of it..because its my back up exercise..even if I hardly ever use it! Can I confess, that I cannot swim in water over my head. I have this fear....there is a "beginner" class for adults, I may take when I get the confidence. The water exercises are really wonderful and as good as swmming in my opinion. Joanie

Have you tried to put music cover over both ears while you are excercise??? Thank you for confess. it is not too late to learn swimming. After you learn how to swimming then you will feel more confidence in swim laps. Hugs Kathy K
