I'm HOME

Here I am....back home in freezing CT. After a few days of green everywhere, you really start to forget how gray and dull it is here in the NE (gee, can you tell I'm THRILLED to be home) Not only did I manage to bring snow with me, I managed to bring myself back a lovely cold. Truthfully, the cold is probably payback for my -ahem- 'indescretions' while on vacation. I really don't care though, it was worth it. The weather was sunny and warm 90% of the time. The waves are huge this time of year on the west end of the island...so the surfers are out in force (wish I knew how!) Nice eye candy while sun bathing! Got to spend tons of time with my family and catch up with a great old friend who I haven't seen in 12 years. Needless to say- he was majorly surprised and moderately amused by my transformation. New Years was a blast...apparently it's the tradition to keep it kinda low key until Midnight, hanging out with friends and family and having fun- THEN after midnight- the bars open. I THINK (though I couldn't swear to it, since most of the night after about 3 am was a blur) we got home at 6 am. I actually managed to GAIN some weight on this little vacation again -ahem- due to my 'indescretions'. So, back to work for me today (and back to some exercise!) Hope you're all well. Hello my Angel, I am soooooooo glad you are back home safety!! Sorry about your cold and havbe alot of soups and rest. Did you get a nice tan ?
