Kathy's Excercise Log - Wednesday
Hi Everbody
Hope you made your time to excercise yesterday for ten or 15 min!
Let me tell you about yesterday with my personal trainer. It is hard work but I felt good after finishing my excercise with her.
She worked on me with my biceps and triceps muscles, alot of cardio, my abs and my hamstrings yesterday. I have to tell you that I hate one machine called leg extensions. It is for my hamstrings muscle and is no fun to use it but I can feel my muscle become little toner after using it. I did that for 12 for 3 times and did leg curls for 12 for 3 times too. I was very sore on my both arms and legs yesterday but today I felt fine. I am getting using to have sore form my muscle because I have been doing it for almost 2 months so far. My personal trainer said she will work on Squat this thursday.I slept so good last night after excercise. SMILE!
you know it is not going to be pretty weather out there today this afternoon through tomorrow morning. I am planning to excercise my trendmill for 20 min, will use alot of excerise ball with dumbbell weightlifts and working on my abs too after dinner for an hour.
I know it is not easy to stay motivated but I will share with you how I stick with my staying motivation.
_ Remind myself why I decided to have this surgery and better to take care of my health by doing excercise!
_ Reward yourself for a Job Well Done.... I bought small things like this book, candle from Yankee, take a nice bath, buy excercise ball or things you need excercise on the floor at home
_ Set small goals
my small goal is wokring on my abs and want to build toner on my sotmach and will fit my smaller size blue jean pant with ZIPPER UP.
You are lucky.. You can listen to your favorite music while you are excercise. Not me... :O(
_ Get a buddy partner or Trainer partner
Nothing better than having a buddy help you reach your goals with the help motivation. I love to hear my personal trainer saying you can do it and keep push hard ! I heard you , Linda ( my personal trainer)
_ help others out
when people come up to me and ask me how I do that which keep me motivated because I know others like all of you look up to me SMILE!It is great feeling to know I can help people and is proud of myself for hard working.
_ Do it for fun
I used to hate it and just do it get it over with but now I love every bit of it. That is my new life style. I sometime laughed myself while I am excercise but it is good to laugh and it made my personal trianer wants to know why I am laughed SMILE!
TRY TO STAY MOTIVATED!!!!
You will feel good to find out to wear smaller clothes and feel good about yourself. I decided to excerise for REST OF MY LIFE because I do not want to go back being fat again! That is one of my goals!
Looking forward to hear your excercise log
Hugs

HI Kathy,
What a wonderful update you wrote! I am so glad to see that you are doing all your excercising and I think this log is great. Excercise is so important to the long term success of this surgery. I walk 4 miles per day.
2 miles in the AM before work and then 2 miles on my lunch break. My Dr would like to see me do some aerobic activity so I am thinking about joining the gym with my son. I wish you the best of luck.
Love,
Sandy
Hey Surgery Twin!
Good to hear all the hard work you're doing! I am going to the fitness center at my school 5 days a week. Yesterday, I rode the bike for 1 1/2 miles, then walked the treadmill for 1 mile, then worked on my triceps and biceps. 45 minute total. I have an exercise buddy, at school and we keep each other going.(That way if I want to quit she says NO! and when she wants to leave early I say NO!) see you at the L&M meeting on the 12th
Hugs~ Robin R
Kathy,
You are such an awesome person! What a motivator!! I can't wait until I am fully healed from my sinus/deviated septum surgery so I can get my but moving, WLS or not!
You look great and keep up the good work!! Love your thread, if it is not a motivator, nothing is. I will have to get info on the trainer - she may be just what I need (depending on cost!).
HUGS,
Nancy K.
