I screwed up!

One of the last steps in my pre-op process was to attend the Pre-op meeting last night! Problem is I thought it was tonight!!! This will now delay me a month for this one thing!!! Is there anything I can do? I know I can just go next month but it really throws me off, I am suppose to have surgery next month!

Does it have to be at your surgeon's meeting -- or can it be another? Dr. Bell's support group is meeting tonight at Yale in New Haven - 6:00. Hope this helps. Kathy Bilodeau

Kristin, I know some people that were having surgery the same couple of days as mine did not attend due to scheduling reasons or they just did not go. I think it is an informational pre op meeting that is not mandatory but you might want to call Dr. Aranow-Lois asap and let her know what happened.

Thank you ladies! I just got back from the office and the dietician said that since I have been totally compliant and lost the required weight prior to even meeting with her that she can waive that requirement! WOOHOO! Thank you for your help!
