Baby Shower

Hello All, Okay, I am slowly getting my act together....... and have come up with a plan. Those of you who know and love our Heather S are invited to a Baby Shower for Heather S. It will be on Sunday, January 30th 1:30pm to......when ever. Sorry about the Sunday date but our guest of honor can't make it on Saturdays because her DH is working every Saturday for tax season. The festivities will be at my place......256 New Haven Ave. Unit 4, Milford CT. Please email me for directions and more details. I don't have a huge place but we will have a great time and hey its winter and we will need to keep warm right!!!!!! Please RSVP by 1/22/05 so we can plan accordingly. Remember that is Sunday January 30, 2005........whew got to get used to writing the new year. Linda

Hi Linda, I was afraid this would happen - I should have emailed you in advance. I will be on another missions trip to Jamaica on the 30th of January. We are leaving the 29th and back on February 8th. You know I don't want to miss the shower, but the tickets are bought, etc., etc. Thanks, Kathy Bilodeau

Linda, Since you given us so much time, I am going to really try to be there. What an accomplishment to lose all that weight and then have a baby. A cause for celebration. Now Linda.... the big question is.... Can we bring food? LOL I am still a food addict I think Good thing I can't eat as much as pre-op but I still think about it an awful lot! Has anyone else tried Overeaters Anon. ??? Mark Gaynor told it was something I could look into because there is one right near where I live. Linda it is very sweet of you to set up this get together. Please, please, please don't feel the need to bring anything but yourself and maybe some *food* and help me calm my nerves before the big day. HeatherS

Hi Heather, OA sounds like it might be a good thing to check into. I might just join you. The only problem is I had kind of a bad experience with them years ago and it wasn't me that was going, a cousin that I lived with for awhile and we were in Michigan. I will tell you about it on Tues. As for bringing food, yep we will be having food. I have a semi menu planned but nothing in stone as yet. Once I have a better idea of how many people are coming I will have a better idea. I am thinking though if you wanted to bring an appetizer type of thing that would be good. I am afraid that there will be too much food and we will all get sick...... See you on Tuesday!!! Linda
