Hi gang! I don't post much but read all the time! I really need your suppport! I have been crowned Mrs. New Milford and will be competeing in the Mrs. Connecticut pageant in June in Hartford, CT. Yes...a former obese person is now a beauty queen! Can you believe it?! Let me back up...I had surgery with Dr. Floch in April 2003. I was 271 pounds and nobody who didn;t need glasses would have ever called me pretty. Not even "you have a pretty face". So I had the surgery and am now a size 6 and I have lost half of me....135 pounds! And I weigh 135 pounds! A friend dared me to enter the pageant and so I did. Now....lets see if I can compete with the thin ladies who have been beauty queens! I am doing it for all former fat girls! So here is where you all come in...if you would be so kind! First, I would love to see you all at the pageant! And second...to raise money for the entry fees and other pageant expenses...I have made make a wish necklaces. (Because all of us who have been obese have made plenty of wishes to lose the excess weight all our lives!) You can see the necklaces here http:/hometown.aol.com/annb860/page4.html. I would really appreciate your support in any way possible! Thanks again and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!
