Hi Folks,
Yesterday was my 4 year anniversary of my WLS w/Dr. Bell. For all you folks considering it, please DO IT!

In the past two years, I have had some very serious stumbling blocks both weight-wise and in my personal life. I did gain some weight, but got back on track, and now I'm at my lowest weight. I am down 90 lbs. , recently had my skin removal/TT and had some complications, but all in all, I feel great!

Please do this surgery if you are consiering it. I had a lap RNY with Dr. Bell. I know that a lot of folks are doing "newer" surgeries, but they don't seem as successful (I could be wrong). In any event, I am so grateful to Dr. Bell for his skill in giving me a tool. Bigger than that, I am grateful that I still use the tool.

PS Does anyone know when Dr. Bell's support group meets? I've been away too long and would like to go back.

don't know if you got my message earlier this week...Dr. Bell's meetings are the first Tuesday of the month..at 6PM in the basement of his building...

if you are interested, another one of Dr. Bell's patients and I are thinking about forming a support group somewhere other than New Haven....let me know...

Thanks for the info. on Dr. Bell's mtg. Is he still in Temple Medical? If so, where is the parking?

I'd love to go and will plan on going, but sometimes my schedule gets crazy, so I may have to meet you there.

Thanks also for the good wishes. It feels great to have made it this far without "regaining" as so many people do. I can only pray that I continue to use the tool Dr. Bell gave me.
