I had WLS on 10/1/04 with Dr Giles at UCONN. Pre-op weight.. 396.5 ( BMI 56.8 super obese)..... now less than 3 months later.... my current weight is 300 ( BMI 43.0 morbidly obese) it doesn't seem real to me!!! I don't mind the changes in my eating habits at all... to me a lean cuisine dinner is now a special dinner treat ( still trouble finishing one at times.. any thoughts on this food choice?) Although i don't post often... I read the food log daily! THANKS JOANIE! BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE UP COMMING DATES.... IT IS POSSIBLE... AND IT IS WORTH IT! Congrats on the weight loss! That is really super! As far as the lean cuisines go, I eat them all the time. I love LOVE love the Thai Style Chicken. I could eat it every night if given the chance. I think the portions are a great size although I usually can't eat all the veggies or pasta/rice which is alright by me. They have a good amount of protein in them. They are quick and easy. And most importantly, most of the ones I have tried are absolutely delicious and not overly processed. I told Dr. A that I was eating them and he said that was fine to eat. Again, congrats on the wonderful weight loss. Eileen
