CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!
I had WLS on 10/1/04 with Dr Giles at UCONN. Pre-op weight.. 396.5 ( BMI 56.8 super obese)..... now less than 3 months later....
my current weight is 300 ( BMI 43.0 morbidly obese) it doesn't seem real to me!!!
I don't mind the changes in my eating habits at all... to me a lean cuisine dinner is now a special dinner treat ( still trouble finishing one at times.. any thoughts on this food choice?)
Although i don't post often... I read the food log daily! THANKS JOANIE!
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE UP COMMING DATES.... IT IS POSSIBLE... AND IT IS WORTH IT!
WARMEST REGUARDS,
BECKY ( 96 LBS LIGHTER! )
Congrats on the weight loss! That is really super!
As far as the lean cuisines go, I eat them all the time. I love LOVE love the Thai Style Chicken. I could eat it every night if given the chance. I think the portions are a great size although I usually can't eat all the veggies or pasta/rice which is alright by me. They have a good amount of protein in them. They are quick and easy. And most importantly, most of the ones I have tried are absolutely delicious and not overly processed. I told Dr. A that I was eating them and he said that was fine to eat.
Again, congrats on the wonderful weight loss.
