WOW thats fantastic. How long did it take for you to get approved for the surgery? Did insurance cover it. How did you decide on a surgeon.I am thinking of doing it also.
I haven't seen Toni yet, but heard she looks great. I think Crissy is having it done also. I have to follow our crowd. I don't want to be the only one with out a tummy tuck. LOL.
Hope you are feeling O.K.
Take care,
Sarah
I haven't seen Toni yet either, but I have been unable to attend the meetings. The approval took several weeks, if you have rashes, infections or any thing like that be sure to have documentation from your doctor, I didn't have anything except the photos the PS office took and from what I understand if the amount of overhang is below pubic area and you have lost over 100lbs some insurance companys will pay for panni part. As for any other PS work it depends on the company, most don't cover anything else. I know when you see Jason he might give you some different info if Dr, Barba does the surgery. I can say the surgery has changed my profile drastically, never had such a flat abdomen. Be sure when you talk with a surgeon you ask specific questions on what he will be doing and the costs. A tummy tuck AKA abdominplasty is not usually covered by insurance but they might cover the panni part which saves a few thousand, be sure you are clear on what you what or can have done. The panni just removes the overhanging skin and fat that hangs below your belly button.
I am doing quite well as of today, sore and just walking a little bent over. Any other questions PM me if I can be of help.
