can't believe next Friday it will be 1 YEAR!

and what a year it has been!  today I am down 161 pounds...I am off all but 11.5 milligrams of medications!  I can run on the treadmill for 45 minutes at 3.5 miles per hour going up hill....and I am dating again!

life is good...anyone that has any second thoughts about this surgery....let's chat!

LMAO That reminded me, I went in to my 6 month (can't believe that either) and told Dr. A. "This has been the sickest 6 months of my life but I would do it over again in a heartbeat." Congrats on all you have accomplished in this past year and the support you have given to others.

Wow, Jen, what a fantastic milestone to mark!  congratulations to you! 

Congratulations and happy anniversary.  Your anniversary date is very close to mine, which is 7/21/04!  And isn't Dr. Bell awesome?????????????  When is the next support group meeting?  Do you know?  I'd love to go.

support groups are in Dr. Bell's office now...in the basement--on the first Tuesday of the month.  so next meeting is August 5th...I have recently hooked up with another of Dr, Bell's patients from Branford...perhaps we can meet and chat...and start a small support group on the shoreline..I hate driving in to New Haven...another option..the three of us can car pool..let me know!
