What are my Christmas gifts???????????????? A gift of over 100 lbs gone. Some of the best friends in the world. We have shared a common problem, and as we gain a new life, we share joy. Clothes Did anyone ever think that getting clothes would be a good thing, not just an "Oh well"? Days without medications. Now my pill popping days are filled with vitamins. Health. What are my gifts that I'm giving out??????????????????? (yes a little early) Joanie: You have lost most of your weight. Don't be depressed, as no number will ever make you happy. It will be slower as far as numbers go, but now what you will lose is sizes. 10 lbs will make it time to buy more clothes!!!!! What a bummer, huh Don't sweat any one day. We are in this for the long run, and we will make it to the end of the trip. Deb M: You got your gift in October. Aren't going to get a repeat next year. Debbie Marcus: Enjoy your Christmas dinner. Sure will be different next year... heck, will be different for New Years Eve!! We have another spot on the loser's bench ready for you. It's a remarkable bench.... Automatically shrinks almost every day. Keeps you surrounded with friend and love. Lisa C: You skinny little thing you. Of all things, your dreams come true. Anahid: Skinny little thing #2 I can't imagine what to give the person who looks to have everything. More happiness I guess. Kathy K.: coming up on 3 months out. The weight is running off of you, and your husband is probably running after you I know you are enjoying life much more, Your smile is so contagious. May it light the way for many more to come. Becky Newell: You follow in the same shoes as Deb Marcus... you will be surgery mates. There's room for you too. And as you guys shrink, there will be room for a few more to join us. I've known you the longest of everyone (Ok guys, she went to school with Jessica, so it's been YEARS) and look forward to seeing you in yet another part of your life. Whenever and however, we are always nearby to help. To all the others here: Health friendship and love. Definitely you will find all three here. Live life every day, and be certain it is lived to the fullest. There are no replays like in football. Time to get ready for work. Thank you all my friends for making this a wonderful year. Peter

Hi, Peter! Thank you for your kind thoughts and ever-present support. And thank you to Joanne, Jessica and Melissa for sharing Peter with all of us here. Christmas won't be very different for me, but I had my fill of Chanukah latkes a couple of weeks ago. Happy holidays to all of you, whatever you may celebrate! Debby
