Approved and 6 days out!!!!

Well, since someone gave up there surgery date for me I have completed all my pre-op testing, the worst was the fast for the 5 days. I have to say the Endoscopy was not that bad. I found out Monday that I am approved all the way and I have my 2nd Dr's appointment w/Valin tomorrow. This all took place in less than 2 weeks and I only have 6 days to go. I have to say, for some this would be stressful, and I am sure it is a little for me, but I am happy to have the time compressed so I have less tiem to think about it. Thanks for all your well wishes. My surgery is on 12/28 so I will post again around the 30th.

Congratulations, on your upcoming surgery. I can understand about having less time to prepare, because I was told my surgery date in November and I been counting every single day, now I am about 11 days away and can't wait. Way to go Sid! There we were moaning about insurance and then all HECK broke loose! The Man must have heard us ! I am going to be running around to my final preop appointments right after the first of the year, have them scheduled already. This has been fairly seamless...started the process on November 19, 2004 and will complete it January 19th,2005... Not too shabby! Sid, I am so glad everything is going smoothly for you! Make sure you ask whatever questions you have when you meet with Dr Valin.... Things moved VERY quickly for me to and I am glad, I was so busy getting everything done, there was no time for second thoughts!
