1 week from today (vent)

Happy SNOWY Monday! I hope everyone made it to work in one peice!!! I am 1 week away from surgery (WHOA!) and I am TERRIFIED that I did not lose the weight that Dr. A requires. My scale at home is not as accurate as their scale but still.... I am so worried that I got this far and he will say "Too bad, go home"... I have been eating like a bird and I feel like it hasnt helped. I have the hardest time losing weight, hence the reason I am going for this. Even 10 pounds is impossible for me. I am so scared that this will be the thing that holds me back. Then insurance wont cover it next year. Well, I have to get some work done before I leave for my gall bladder ultrasound! Don't worry your Blue Cross Blue Shield?? My aunt was just done this past Friday. As long as you are 100 pounds overweight and have your doctors letter and you have followed all the steps, you should have no problem. I know what you mean about being excited and nervous, my surgery is Jan 24. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Where are you having yours done?? Feel free to e-mail me I have a profile up and I am under peers. I have Aetna insurance. I am going to be in Middlesex hospital and Dr. Aranow is my surgeon.

I'm sure you're doing just fine Beckie and that surgery will be a full steam ahead procedure. It's hard not to dwell on the what ifs at this point while you're waiting. Have a great snowy day yourself, Maggie
