I have been checking the board for a couple months now and I always read how everyone is in such a hurry and when they get their date there is nothing that keeps them from going in. Well....Some wonderful, incredible person who was shceduled for surgery later this month heard of all the insurance changes coming next year and, being sure they were covered next year, OFFERED to be moved to Janauary so that someone who might not get the surgery could take her place!!! Guess who was the luck guy!! ME!! To whomever did this truley noble thing I thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Sounds like this is really your time Sid. Everything is falling right into place. That's great news. Kudos for that person for doing that. I can imagine that it must have been hard to do. What a wonderful unselfish gesture. So are you still going on the 28th or sooner? Maggie

Still set for 12/28. Today was pre-op testing. 5 holes in me and 2 blown veins and almost passed out all for 10 viles of blood. I am not good with that. I had 3 nurses standing over me trying to keep me from going under. 30 mins later they tried again and did a good job but they said I was drying up. Whew that was acutally the worse part for me beleive ti or not. What a wimp!!!

I had my pre op testing done as soon as I tested for my protein sparing diet results. I about went under myself. I remember the nurse mopping my head and neck with a wet cloth. 10 viles seems like a lot of blood. I'm glad that they were able to get it done for you. Maggie
