Kathy K's impact on others

I was talking with an old friend yesterday about WLS. She is thinking about having the surgery. She lives in Waterford and I told her that my friend Kathy lives in Waterford, not far away from her. She said, "that's the lady who wrote the article I read!" Kathy, your article made her really start thinking seriously about WLS. Because of your article, she was going to Dr. Aranow's seminar last night. I just wanted to let you know that your article had a positive impact on at least one person out there. I'm going to call her in a few minutes to see how the seminar went and if she's made up her mind. Then I'm going to let her know about this message board. Ann 88 lbs GONE!

UPDATE! I talked with my friend and she has an appointment in nine weeks. She is going to go through with the surgery and her husband says if she does well...he's going to do it also! He is a BIG guy and really would benefit from the surgery. So...you've helped TWO people so far with that article! Good for you GIRLFRIEND! Ann
